Hi Everyone it's Christine here with another stenciled image using Light Molding Paste coloured with Gouache watercolours and Posca Acrylic paints.
I stenciled a piece of Archers hot press watercolour with Light Molding Paste using the Shell Texture stencil, when it was dry I sprayed it with distress Distress Oxide Sprays. I also added a layer of Sheer Shimmer spray and in real life it's really sparkly.
When the Distress Oxide sprays and Shimmer spray dried I randomly stamped using the script stamp and stenciled the bird and flower using the Light Molding Paste.
The paste picked up the colours from the Oxide sprays and turned it yellow. Gouache paint is opaque enough when you paint over the paste it holds it's colour.
I added a touch of white Posca paint to brighten up the white, yellow and black areas of the stenciled bird and flowers.

Fabulous oriental scene and great use of the stencils and the paste. I love the pop of colour on the birds and the branch and beautifully coloured with the gouache paint x.
Beautiful - love the vibrant red on the birds as a contrast to the subtle colours of the background. Wonderful use of stencils!
