Hi Everyone, it's Christine here Foiling with stamps. I recently watched a video on You tube which showed how to use Deco Foil with your heat embossed images using either a Laminator or a Foiling machine. Deco Foil needs a glue to pull the foil off the plastic backing, the heat embossed image when heated in the laminator causes the foil to stick to the image. You can also use your Heat foiling machine to do the same thing.
For this card I took a gelliprint background out of my stash heat embossed the image with Versafine Clair ink, then placed the deco foil over the background image (Urban Alphabet) and ran it through my laminator.
I then randomly stamped using the Number Abstract (small) stamp and Ranger Archival ink to make it even more grungier.
The flower was also created using the same heat embossed foiling technique on water colour paper, fussy cut I then sprayed with Nuance powders and let dry.
The sentiments were cut out of the "words to live by" stamp and placed around the flower.
Here is a close up of the foiling, you can see a touch of shimmer on the flower image and on the more solid background image.
