Hi Everyone, it's Christine here playing with some stencils, inks and shaving cream . The shaving cream goes a long way so you can make lots of cards and backgrounds for your stash.
For the first card I used the bird stencil, I held it in place over cards stock and spread the shaving cream over the stencil. I let it air dry before giving it a final wipe with a kitchen towel. I added some extra layers with stamps and outlined the birds and the branches with pencil.
For my second card I used the sunflower stencil. The shaving cream had less ink but still made a beautiful stenciled background which I will add a sentiment later, I love the soft colours of this one.

Absolutely beautiful, both of them with a fun and unique technique with amazing results x.
That made such beautiful, soft backgrounds. I'm off to watch the video.
Beautiful soft colours on both of them - so calm and peaceful. The first one doesn't need a sentiment at all - it's a lovely notecard as is. The second could be adaptable to lots of occasions. Two great cards to have on hand!
Great technique you've shared Christine. Both your cards are fantastic! xx
What a fun technique and the perfect stencils to do it with! Thanks for sharing the video link.
So soft and pretty. A creative use of the shaving cream technique… have never seen it put over a stencil before. The outlining helped the birds and branches to stand out.
Wow - the look is wonderful on these, Christine. I am going to try them soon! Love the cards! Hugz
