Savvy Creations with Cassandra / Créations avisées avec Cassandra

Hello Magenta Friends! Cassandra here today sharing an art journal page made with some of the newest release stamps.

I started by collaging a double page in my Moleskin journal with old dictionary text, arithmetic text, and an old Canadian map print out. Once I was pleased with my arrangement, I scrapped on gesso, using a paper towel to spread and thin some areas. Once that was dry, I coloured the background with Turquoise, Cerulean Blue, and Grass Green Nuances. Finishing with some concentrated splatters. Next, I stamped the heart notes in Mermaid Lagoon, Peeled Paint, and Hickory Smoke Archival ink and the leaves in the Peeled Paint. Then, I stenciled the bird using a Brown Marks All along with using it to draw the branches. Using a waterbrush, I activated the All pencil, added some Umber and Ruby Scribble Sticks and finished with more Brown Alll pencil through the stencil. Next, I used the ?? stencil to add some flowers with Tangerine and Cheddar Scribble Sticks. I finished the page off by stamping the Find Your Song and Sing It sentiment with Black Soot Archival ink on white tissue paper and adhered it with gel medium before using a black pen to outline it.
