When I saw this new stamp from Magenta, the first thing I thought was that the Sandpiper was looking at his reflection like he though it was a friend there in the water
I lightly colored the background through the stencil TM286 using the colors already on my brushes. I then stamped the bird image with Versafine Clair Acorn ink. Since this ink is a pigment type, I was able to sprinkle gold embossing powder onto just the reflection portion of the image. I used a colored pencil on the belly of the bird. I'm pretty sure no Sandpiper is blue, but I just liked how it looked. I added the sentiment at the top and embossed it in gold.
