Hi everyone, for my card this week I used a clingwrap background from my stash.
I stamped the poppy image and heat set with clear embossing powder and used bleach to remove a most of the colour from inside the stamped image. Not all of the colour came out so I used a mix of Gouache and pearlized paints to colour the image. I used a white pencil to add highlights and for the centre of the poppy I used gold paint and yellow glitter posca pen. When I finished colouring the image I masked the flowers and larger leaves and stamped the abstract matrix background.

WOW! Gorgeous card Christine!
Thanks for explaining how you made the card! It's so beautiful!
Gorgeous card, Christine. LOVED how you used the cling wrap technique for your background. It created such an artsy textured background. Your acrylic painted poppies are stunning. TFS your beauty and detailed description, my friend. Hugs..Nancy
Love this big poppy and bright color. Your cling wrap background looks so pretty. The folds really show up so well.
The colors, the depth, and the visual texture are fantastic, Christine! Amazing poppies and background!
