Hi everyone, I have a little fishy scene for you today.
I used a gelli plate to create the background by inking the surface with Distress oxide ink pads, spritzing with water and blending the colours with my finger. The gelli plate causes the inky water to pool in areas giving this pretty background. I stamped the fish using a stamp positioner coloured the them with Posca Glitter pens, and re-stamped to give crisp outlines. I used Nuvo drops (clear) for the bubbles and sprinkled them with holographic glitter before the dried.

The water looks fantastic. Those are wonderful results with the gelli plate and ink pads. What a fun card.
Thanks for explaining how you did it! That seems like a really easy gelli plate technique - I'll have to try it as I need to practice using my gelli plate.
Very cool background for your fabulous fish, Christine! xx
