Treats on Tuesday with Christine - La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi everyone, I have a Christmas card for you today using these two sweet little birds.

I used a home made circle to mask off the the centre of the card and used  temporary tack to hold it in position. I stamped the Christmas background stamp over the mask in Versamark ink. while the mask was still in place I wiped some copper Pan Pastel around the outside of the circle. The pan pastel sticks to the Versamark and the words appear. I removed the mask and stamped the birds. The edge of the card was outlined using a gold pen and I blended a little gold ink around the edge. I sprayed the card with a pastel fixative to ensure the pan pastel didn't smudge.
