Hi everyone, this card is a combination of Distress oxide ink blending, water colour lifting and background stamping.
I blended the distress oxide on smooth card stock to create the background, stamped the image in Versafine Clair Nocturn and heat embossed using clear embossing powder. I lifted some of the colour from the bird and the leaves with water and used water on Christmas script stamp to lift the colour in the background. To add a touch of colour I used a glitter pen on the berries and stamped the holly in white. I distressed the edges using a paper distresser.

Gorgeous colours for your ink blended background Christine. I love the way you've used two different techniques for lifting colour. This is a beautiful card!
Love the way you lifted some of the colour from the bird and the way you stamped the holly in white so that it is very subtle.
