Treats on Tuesday with Christine - La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi everyone, I pulled a background from my stash and stamped these two sweet little chickadees. The background is a plant press using my die cutting machine. Sandwich some leaves or flowers between some water absorbent card, Watercolour or Mixed media. Run it through your die cutting machine using the shims for thin dies. Note there may be some water which seeps out of the leaves.

I stamped the birds using Versafine Clair Nocturn, I left the image in my stamp platform and used a white posca pen to go over the white areas of the bird, when the paint dried I re stamped the image. I then used coloured pencils to add a little shading. I blended the edge with pale blue distress ink and added a circle stencil and added a little more colour to give the impression of a moon.
