Hi everyone, my card today is a combination of cold coffee, a stencil and some stamps.
I took some instant coffee dissolved in hot water, when it was cold I poured some into a foil dish and dipped the paper in so both sides were evenly covered by the coffee. I lay the paper on a Teflon sheet and placed the stencil on top, the paper was left to dry. Once it dries the outline of the stencil is left on the paper. I used the paper you get as filler in boxes, it's an off white colour and just a little thicker than copy paper.
I used my stamps and distress inks to add more detail to the stenciled image and cut the strip to cover part of the card base.

Love this idea and time to save that left over morning coffee. What a brilliant way to add color. SO glad I didn't miss this one!
Beautiful creations, Christine. Using coffee to stain your paper and add a stencil is such a clever way to make uniquely beautiful backgrounds. Gorgeous with the stamped leaves.
