Hi everyone I have a Pinecone and Bauble Christmas card for you today.
I used Ranger watercolour pencils and a direct to stamp technique to add colour to the Poinsettia stamp. I dipped the tip of the pencil in water and coloured the stamp with different blues while it was in the stamp platform. I sprited with water before I stamped the card. I mopped up excess water on the card using a kitchen towel. I stamped the pinecones and berries in Versafine Clair inks and coloured the pinecones with a little distress ink. I stamped the three baubles and connected them to the pinecone branch using a T-square ruler and a silver gel pen. I painted the baubles with Drops of shimmer - glitter paint (Kuretake). You cant see it in the picture but they have such a pretty shimmer. the sentiment was stamped and then the paper moved ever so slightly and stamped again. It's hard to see in the picture but it gives a really pretty shadow effect

What a cool direct-to-stamp technique with watercolour pencils. Wonderful card.
Great card, Christine. I love those ornaments and how you added them among the pinecone branches.
