Nuances Magenta et Bokeh / Magenta Nuances and Bokeh Effect

I just love the Bohek effect and today I have three Bohek projects that were created using the Bubbles stencil on Nuance coloured backgrounds.

For the first one, I used Hot Pink, Turquoise, and Violet Magenta Nuances on watercolour paper. Then, I stamped and embossed the Swirly Flower Silhouette with assorted Distress inks. Next, I stamped and embossed the quotation. Lastly, I added the circles with the stencil and white ink.

For the next one, I started by soaking mixed media paper with water and applying a bunch of Nuance colours. Then, I left them to react and dry.

Once my paper was dry, I stamped the Papyrus with white ink. Using the Bubbles stencil, I worked the Bokeh technique and inked the circles on my project.

To create the enameled embossed splattered effect, I randomly sprinkled some Chunky White embossing powder on the top. As the grains were placed and not glued, I heated them from beneath the paper, so as to not to move them. To complete the project, I inked the edges with Archival ink.

For the third card, I used the Nuances powders to create a fairly dark surface on watercolour paper. I stamped and embossed the poppies using white embossing powder and coloured the interior of the flowers with a white prismacolor crayon. The Bubbles stencil was used again for the circles and then I stamped the script. To frame it all in, I finished it off by inking the edges with Distress inks.

You totally have mastered the bokeh effect! I love the ghostliness of those white poppies in the third card! Awesome colours on all of them.
