Jeudi avec… Nathalie / Thursday with… Nathalie

Yes, it's me again! This time, I present you a pretty field of blue flowers. Well, I recognize, most of the time I put this stamp in color in shades of red, since it is about poppies. But as there are blue poppies, I was inspired by them.

Once again, I first created a background on watercolor cardstock with Nuance powders. Once dry, I stamped several times my flower pattern, spreading over the entire surface. I then added some green arabesques with a first stencil, taking care to keep the flowers clean. I colored them with colored pencils, and I added some white pencil to slightly outline the arabesque patterns. With a light blue metallic marker, I scribbled diamonds and dots to complete my project. Finally, I added on the card a diagonal decoration, using another stencil of arabesques, before sticking my main subject, off center,
mounted on white and blue papers.
