Treats on Tuesday with Christine - La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi it's Christine here at Magenta, I've have two watercolour images to show you using the same stamp.
For my first card I coloured direct to stamp using Tombow pens, lightly spritzed the stamp and then stamped on watercolour card. Once I was happy with the depth of colour and the ink was dry I used Versamark and clear embossing powder to seal the colour in and watercoloured the sky and ground.

My second card was stamped using Ranger archival ink and then used a black Elegant Writer pen to go over some of the areas stamped. Elegant Writer pens are water based pens which when you add water the black gives wonderful blue purple wash as the black ink breaks down.

Two beautiful cards!

Great look to the first card with the use of the Tombows and then the clear embossing powder to allow you to paint the sky around the tree.

Love the way you used the Elegant Writer on the second one - the colours you pulled out are perfect for the wintery scene.

Wow, Love what you did with these and have to have those trees. Never saw a tree stamp I could pass up especially one as detailed as this is. Great job depicting the seasons with the use of color! Love that stamp.
