Treats on Tuesday with Christine - La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi it's Christine here at Magenta, I've have two watercolour images to show you using the same stamp.

For my first card I coloured direct to stamp using Tombow pens, lightly spritzed the stamp and then stamped on watercolour card. Once I was happy with the depth of colour and the ink was dry I used Versamark and clear embossing powder to seal the colour in and watercoloured the sky and ground.

Bonjour c'est Christine ici à Magenta, j'ai deux aquarelles à vous montrer en utilisant la même étampe. Pour ma première carte, j’ai coloré directement sur l'étampe à l’aide de crayons Tombow, puis j'ai vaporisé légèrement l'étampe puis je l'ai étampé sur une carte aquarelle. Une fois satisfaite de la profondeur de la couleur et de l'encre sèche, j'ai utilisé du Versamark et une poudre à embosser transparente pour sceller la couleur et j'ai ajouté l'aquarelle du ciel et du sol.

My second card was stamped using Ranger archival ink and then used a black Elegant Writer pen to go over some of the areas stamped. Elegant Writer pens are water based pens which when you add water the black gives wonderful blue purple wash as the black ink breaks down.

Ma deuxième carte a été étampé avec de l'encre Archival de Ranger puis j'ai utilisé un crayon noir "Elegant Writer" à certains endroits.  Ce crayon est à base d'eau donc lorsque l'on ajoute de l'eau le noir devient bleu mauve.
