Treats on Tuesday with Christine - La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi Everyone it's Christine here with a brayered background out of which I created 3 cards.
I took an 8.5X11 sheet of card stock and used a brayer technique by Leandra Franich.

Once if finished laying down the colours with the brayer I  used acrylic paints and the Sunflower stencil to create the main focus and did some random stamping over the card.

I cut the card into a 5.5X8.5 and two 5.5X4.25  to use as card fronts.
These are the final cards.

My sunflower is waiting for the right person and the right sentiment.

I used Posca acrylic paint pens to colour in my flower.

My butterflies were stamped in Versamark and heat embossed using Aged Aqua embossing enamel.
I hope you enjoyed seeing how one background can create 3 cards.

Fabulous cards!! Love the idea of getting three cards out of the work of creating the background. My favourite is the one with the butterflies - beautiful embossing powder on the flock of butterflies and a great sentiment.

Stunning Christine and also useful to create something large that you can cut down for smaller projects. Vicky x

Beautiful brayered background. That technique looks cool and easy enough. Love your second floral card... colouring with your white pen really makes it pop.

I adore your brayered background Christine and such pretty colours and love the different images you have used over the top, including the pretty stencilled flower over some wonderful stencilling and stamping in the background, and then the beautiful daisies using posca acrylic pens which look great, and then the bevy of beautiful heat embossed butterflies very vintage looking using the Aged Aqua embossing enamel, really different. x
