Treats on Tuesday with Christine - La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi everyone, it's Christine here and I want to show you how to use a background stamps to add an extra element of interest to your  design. I love script stamps for a background either for mixed media or cards.

Card 1 I used a grey mixed media card stock and used some Inka Gold watercolours with Liquid platinum embossing powder. the script stamp is stamped in white.

Card 2 is similar with the bird stamp as the focus and some distressed edges.

Card 3 is on black mixed media card stock with Metallic Gansai Tambi paints, and white ink sentiment.

All three are fabulous! Love the use of the white text stamp as background for each - such a different look depending on the colour of the cardstock. My favourite is the third one with the black cs and those gorgeous metallic blossoms.

Three amazing cards, Christine. Love the script as the background for your beautiful images. Especially LOVE the inka gold leaves, they are gorgeous! And the ripped edge on the bird card is such a wonderful detail. The gold watercolours really shine against the black card. Thanks for showing us three cards that are so totally different and use different colouring mediums. Always learn so much from you!
