Hi everyone, I have a bokeh technique for you today. I used the same stamp on both cards to show you how different the image can look by stamping first or stenciling the bokeh circles first.
I taped my watercolour paper to my mat and randomly brushed watercolour over the surface. and let it dry
On the first card I stamped the image of the flowers and then used the circle stencil and white pigment ink (Hero Arts Unicorn) sponged through the stencil. I varied the amount of white ink I used to make some of the bokeh circles whiter than others
On the second card I stenciled the bokeh circles and then stamped the image.
When the image is stamped on top of the bokeh the background looks misty and the image is stronger.
